Wetterfest plays with the double meaning of the word — both “weatherproof” and “weather party.” This wordplay forms the basis for a visual concept symbolizing a new start.
The day when applications are submitted marks a fresh beginning, a step into a new education and life phase. My focus was to capture this feeling of transition and orientation visually.
I experimented extensively with different inks, ballpoint pens, and analog techniques. Chance and spontaneity were key methods shaping the design. These visual experiments became the foundation for a graphic system applied across posters, printed materials, as well as physical objects like rain caps and laser-cut accessories.
The result is a design that combines functionality and celebration, reflecting the spirit of this important day.
