The exhibition "How Are We Picturing Cells?" aims to challenge conventional visualizations that influence our understanding of cells. Through six interactive stations that cover aspects like cell size, popular visualizations, shape, structure, dynamics, uniqueness, and diversity of cells, the diverse nature of cells is made understandable and interactively engaging.
The visual concept with Dark colors, white font, along with metallic and golden materials mixed with new media such as video displays and 3D-printed objects were chosen to create a contemporary aesthetic, which aimed to encourage a fresh perspective on how to picture cells.
Scientific metaphors, such as microscope-like apparatuses, were integrated to create bekannte elemente to encourage visitors to explore their own perceptions of cells.
